Chapter 1.2 - Winter Heat
If you just joined us, the founder of this ISBI legacy is an adventurer. He loves to travel and explore tombs. In doing so, he tends to accumulate plenty of bits and bobs. Hence the Dive well, and the sarcophagi in the backyard, in the snow. I eventually moved them down into the mausoleum, which is their own little tomb. Obviously you can't see it as I just took a photo of where the ashes will be. I spent half an hour trying to make it look nice, and I think it worked out well.
In the previous chapter, Romeo and Charlotte welcomed their beautiful baby boy, Gaston, to the world. He was born at night, during an awful blizzard, and even though all Sim babies look the same, he was adorable. Mostly because he looked like a blue and pink caterpillar...
While Romeo was at work after bub was born, Charlotte went back to her favourite past time of watching Telly, with the baby. She was staying out of mischief so I wasn't about to complain. She was certainly a mellow Sim.
Christmas time. Gifts were had. And Romeo received two game consoles. From who I have no idea, there was no card, but the boxes were nice. And seemed to really enjoying gifts, going back for seconds.
Several times, Romeo's mates called to tell him to have a bachelor party. I enabled...
It was also time to give Charlotte her wishes so I presided over their private wedding in their snowy backyard. I cheated and put Charlotte in her formal wear. It was too pretty to let her get married in her underwear.
Birthday time! Little Gaston was ready to become a Toddler. Daddy did the honours, while Mummy tooted her horn in the background. He turned out to be pure adorableness. Romeo spent the next five days teaching Gaston the fundamentals of how to be a Sim.
Charlotte got in on the action of parenthood. She kept picking him up and playing with him, snuggling and tickling the poor child as well. At one point, she even fed him on the floor. She's not a bad mother, but is a little inattentive when the telly is on.
After Gastons skills were learned, Romeo and Charlotte worked on baby number two. They made use of one of the new sarcophagi that hadn't been moved at this point.
Who could really say no to woohoo in a sold gold coffin in the middle of winter. That's not creepy at all.
I know how this feels Charlotte. I sympathise with you. At least you only have nausea for 24 hours. It shall soon pass, and then you can enjoy the back aches and cravings.
What was I doing?
Oh yes, thats right. Pop!
I got big fast!
Yeah, nothing happened between pop and birth. Happyness makes for boring storytelling. Charlotte proceeded to give birth at home. I don't know how she coped to be honest. I always feel proud of my lady sims when they give birth. It's truly an accomplishment pushing something so large out of something so small. I also get a small sense of pleasure when I see them in pain. This Watcher has the evil and insane traits.
Hello there Matilda Rake. Little pink Caterpillar. I think she has her fathers skin tone. Tanner Caterpilliar!
Daddy Day Care! He tended to Matilda's needs most of the time. He sacrificed his own needs to make sure she was clean, fed, and properly socialized before he went to work. He left her sleepy so she would sleep for at least a little while he was away.
Birthday time! Now...a little note about this. I did not know that birthday cakes could catch on fire...
I also didn't know the birthday cake changed to reflect the sims ages. So cute...
FIRE! FIRE! Charlotte MOVE. Oh dear...
So Matilda is a Toddler, and while she is screaming for food on the floor, Charlotte is engulfed by flames and her entire life flashes before my eyes and I resign myself to the fact I am about to lose my French beauty...
BUT THANK GOODNESS I DIDN'T...Charlotte, take a shower for plumbobs sake.
Would she take a shower? No...no she would not. She spent the next 24 hours stinky and singed. Poor thing. But, she did eventually have a shower so that was a bonus.
Now, lets see how our newly grown babies look like.
Gaston Rake. He loved being a Prince. He had some serious swagger too...
Princes do not socialise with commoners!
Princes should not have to go to school!
Next up, we have Matilda, and she is really a sweet little thing. I need more toddler hair's though. There isn't enough variety, but oh well. Both children received their mothers hair and their fathers skin tone. He has strong gene's apparently.
The high chair is a great place for photo's...
Tickle Tickle Tickle!
D'aww snuggles...
Hello baby!
Potty Training is accomplished!
So is walking.
No one will find me in here...
Are you really still here lady? The fire has been put out, and I fixed the damage, and yet, you're still standing there...
I'm surprised we're not completely in the red...I don't it will last long though lol. Join me in a few days when we Island Paradise!

A good start! Interesting that you chose a founder who was already so far along in his career. Not many do that, so it's different. Also, sadness that your TH was the first to fail. Lolol. As for the birthday cakes catching fire, I have at least one member of the household have the Fireproof Household LTR in aaaaallllll my legacies, JUST FOR THAT REASON. Darned combustible cakes. >_<
ReplyDeleteYay, you read it <3 Thank you!
DeleteAnd yeah, I have never ever had a cake go up in flames. Since release day for the base game, not once combustible cake. I was shocked lol.
I'm gunna move this family to Isla Paradiso tho, specifically because its new and shiny!
