Welcome to the Seasoned Traveller ISBI (I'm Surrounded by Idiots) Challenge blog :)
The sim above, who is having a heart attack is Romeo Rake, International Super Spy.
He is a pre-made EA sim from Bridgeport, who lives in his own, rather well decorated apartment.
He enjoys Classical music, Tri-Tip Steak, the colour Blue, and Simtini's...stirred, not shaken.
He is a rather Charismatic Schmoozer, who loves to Flirt and is rather Adventurous. He is also brilliant at Computers, you might even say he's a Computer Whiz, and he is a Leo. His lifetime wish is to max the Visa Level for China, Egypt and France.
He is our founder for this challenge, and hopefully, both Romeo, and the Watcher, will be a regular updater.
What is ISBI?
ISBI stands for "I'm Surrounded by Idiots". Its a sims 3 challenge where the main goal is to reach 10 generations, but you can only have one active sim per generation, ie: The Torch Holder/Heir. Every other sim must stay autonomous. This will be horrible, as I am quite the involved Watcher where I manage every second of every sims life...
Lynnwood's, Goth-Sanity ISBI got my creative juices flowing, so I thought I would do my own. Of course, mine won't be anywhere near as good as hers, but, we'll give it a good shot.
Now, onto the Rules, which I have borrowed from the amazing Lynnwood.
- The main point of this challenge is to go through 10 generations, only controlling one sim, a torch holder(TH)/Heir, per gen.
- The torch gets handed down when the chosen sim is a YA or older. It can happen on their birthday, or afterwards. However, the new TH/Heir must be in the YA stage. Once a new sim is chosen, the last TH/Heir must NOT be controlled.
- If needed, the town can be populated with CAS sims. Those CAS sims may also be married into the house, since they can’t be played as another household anyways.
- The only sims allowed to join the household would be partners of the TH/Heir. No roomates! (The exception to this rule would be Imaginary Friends made real)
- No Service Sims. The exception would be Police/Firefighters and the babysitter due to WORK related scheduling. But no hiring a babysitter simply because the TH/Heir needs to leave the house.
- When it comes to the Paintings of the Torch Holders/Heir's and their Spouses. I reserve the right to put photo's on the wall/table instead...xD
- Non Torch Holders/Non-Heirs may not be commanded at any time. They may be given ONE interaction per life stage. However, if it isn’t used, then it is lost.
- Interactions given to change style or to give a job or to move out do not count to this rule. However, quitting a job would.
- NTH/NH inventories may be messed with at anytime, as long as no interactions are chosen from the inventory.
- If/when a sim grows up and you are given the ability to choose a trait, feel free. You’ve earned the right.
- NTH’s/NH's LTP can be spent at will
- LTW can be chosen at anytime or at the YA Adult stage
- When moving a NTH/NH out, you may do so at anytime after the YA birthday. HOWEVER, the NTH/NH can only move out with anyone YA or up.
- Wants may be locked/unlocked, but nothing can be influence them from being completed.
